Apart from the chewability factor, Achillies Tendons are a great source of collagen for our dogs. Collagen is an important protein component of hair, bones, cartilage, ligaments and tendons and is necessary for healing injuries as well.

As our dogs age their collagen production lessens and their existing fibres can become more brittle, allowing a higher incidence of joint and connective tissue injury.
